Ruthann has a wide range of experience working for financial, legal, and insurance clients throughout the greater Boston area. She previously worked as manager of media relations and publications for the American Automobile Association in Rockland, and was a member of the public relations department at Liberty Mutual Insurance Group in Boston.
During her tenure with AAA from 1988 to 1993, Ruthann was primary spokesperson for the company’s southeastern Massachusetts territory. She provided interviews to print and broadcast media, commenting on travel trends as well as AAA’s lobbying efforts on transportation and insurance issues. As associate editor of AAA World magazine, Ruthann developed editorial and marketing content, writing travel and insurance articles as well as creating promotional copy.
Recent projects include web content, bylined columns, news releases, and brochures through her work at Commonwealth Creative Associates. Clients include Commonwealth National Bank, Mirick O’Connell Attorneys at Law, SBLI Life Insurance Company, and GE Healthcare Financial Services. Writing samples can be forwarded upon request.
